Tasked with creating a logo, as well as an interesting and eye-catching design, I went about the concept of the literal brains of the product. Started off with different designs of incorporating a brain and coffee. Landing on a half brain, half coffee mug that completes the whole image of the brain while having steam coming out mimicking the sulci of the brain. Having the company's green color made it perfect for a split complimentary color palette with the coffee ground brown and the brain piping hot pink. With the brains on the top, a pattern on the sides, and some nodes on the front (as a nod to Brainiac himself) the design captured the clients idea for a geeky, sophisticated coffee.
